Lincoln Road Refuge(s)
After they have taken some flack recently I was pleased to see some positive comments, from residents, about Lincolnshire County Highways.
In the shape of the new “Refuge” on the Lincoln Road opposite the refurbished Co-op store. It has been a bit of a nightmare getting across this stretch of the Lincoln Road for those living on the Holdingham Ward side (e.g from Sycamore Drive). This is a welcome relief for residents and I hope there will be more for the future.
Added to the other signs warning motorists of excess speeds it is slowly begining to look better.

One cheer for Highways after the mauling they took over the traffic lights but more if we can get motre safety measures near Stokes Drive.
Holdingham cn be very busy at times.
There seems to have been little planning. The new play area looks OK and Sleaford now seems to ahve a better infrastructure.
Highways needs to do more for Holdingham. The Lincln Road is very busy. Many cars could use the byepass instead of travelling down Lincoln Road and through Town to get to Mareham Lane ans Quarrington. If TESCO move that will also help matters.
