Finding the way around Holdingham and Sleaford: not as easy as it sounds!

Signage can only do good if the road network allows it.

We are having a Signage Strategy consultation (with NKDC) at the Town Council with the aim of improving Signage in and around Sleaford that will help people find their way about. Not as easy as it sounds. Responsibility for all our signs cuts across Town, Districtt and County Councils.

One objective is to reduce the pressure of vehicles on the Town Centre: there may also be air pollution issues.   For the Holdingham Ward we get the backlash of congestion on the Lincoln Road but we have adjacent open spaces which are not well signposted. So I took some video recordings of Southgate today. It is crowded and to me dangerous. Here is the link.
