Amazingly Holdingham hasn't really got a Community Centre but sports (and seemingly popluar) fast food takeaways. If we include the new Kentucky Fried Chicken outlet near the Holdingham Roundabout.
McDonalds has been on the Lincoln Road (just before the Holdingham Roundaout) for quite a while now. Vehicles going in and out often slow down traffic which is bad enough at peak times. Now Social Media is full of comment and reactions to the opening of Kentucky Fried Chicken just up the A15. The market is mean't. I presume, to be as much about the A17/A15 traffic than about residents from Sleaord.
First reaction to KFC are coming from local social media. Good luck to the businesses but where is the remedial planning if traffic is far higher than expected?
Hello: anybody at home? Every morning there are reports of tailbacks at the Holdingham Roundabout (juction of A15/A17 and the B1518 from Sleaford. Friday pm and lunchtimes also see peak traffic and tailbacks often into Sleaford. And we haven't started on thee Sleaford West Urban extension yet.
The local news media is reporting on it.
New KFC so popuar etc etc is the headline.
