Outside "Play" Equipment for Older Users

One item proposed at this weeks Council meeting was the idea of outside 'play' equipment for Older users. I suppose this mean't 30's and over and more particularly the 60 and over age group. But first we need the space to put them on. Maybe Lincoln Road or Boston Road or new open spaces that may come along.

Now - would it get used?. The idea is that living standards may be falling and people cannot afford Gym usage etc. Well maybe! I've seen it happen in Hong Kong where there is a culture for outdoor exercising. I am not too sure if it will work in this country. Our winters don't help.

Any thoughts anybody?

Several of the parks in Brighton and Hove have outdoor gym equipment and it is very popular all year round. Many towns throughout the UK also have similar. I would love Sleaford to do likewise.
